I have a Visa Card®, do I automatically qualify for the Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit1?

The Benefit is available for Visa Infinite®, Visa Infinite Business® and Visa Infinite Privilege® Cardholders with a valid Canadian-issued Card. To receive the Benefit, eligible Cardholders must enroll for the Benefit by validating their eligible Card and enrolling in the RSVP Rewards program. Existing RSVP Rewards program members who are eligible Cardholders should call 1.800.726.3626 press 3 for Loyalty or email support@rsvprewards.com for instructions on how to obtain the Benefit.

Do I need to enroll in the RSVP RewardsTM program to take advantage of the Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit®?

Yes, enrollment is required to receive automatic elevated status with RSVP Rewards. To obtain the Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit, Cardholders must enroll for the RSVP Rewards program at rsvprewards.com/sign-up and provide the information required for enrollment. During this process, the Visa Card will be validated to ensure it is eligible for the Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit. 

 

How can I take advantage of the Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit if I am an existing RSVP Rewards program member? 

If you are already an RSVP Rewards program member and wish to take part in the Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit, please call the RSVP Rewards Contact Center at 1.800.726.3626 press 3 for Loyalty or email support@rsvprewards.com for assistance.

 

How do I know I’ve enrolled correctly?

Upon successful enrollment, you will receive an email welcoming you to RSVP Rewards as a Visa Infinite or Visa Infinite Privilege Cardholder. After logging in to your RSVP Rewards account, you will find that your elevated tier has been assigned:

  • Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite Business Cardholders will enjoy automatic Platinum status in the RSVP Rewards program.
  • Visa Infinite Privilege Cardholders will enjoy automatic Diamond status in the RSVP Rewards program.

If the tier allocation is not correct, please call the RSVP Rewards contact center at 1.800.726.3626 press 3 for Loyalty or email support@rsvprewards.com for assistance.

 

What do I need to enroll for the RSVP Rewards program?

To enroll for the RSVP Rewards program, you will be required to enter your First Name, Last Name, E-Mail, Mobile Phone Number (optional), and set a Password.

To validate your eligibility for the Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit, click the ‘Check Eligibility’ button on the enrollment form. You will then be required to enter your Visa Card number to be validated. By providing your Card number, you are agreeing to the Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit Terms and Conditions. Once your Visa Card details have been validated, you will return to the enrollment screen and a message confirming your eligibility will appear within the enrollment form.   
 
To complete the enrollment process, you will need to provide your appropriate consent for the RSVP Rewards program. Once this is completed, your RSVP profile will be set up with your automatic elevated status.

 

How will my personal information provided during the enrollment process be used?

Your information will be used for the provision of services under the Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit and the RSVP Rewards program in accordance with RSVP Rewards Privacy Policy and Visa’s Privacy Notice. In order to provide the relevant benefits under the Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit, RSVP Rewards may share your aggregated and anonymized program data with Visa and/or your Visa Card Issuer, to be used in accordance with their respective Privacy Policies.

 

Why do I need to enter my credit card details when I enroll in the RSVP Rewards program? Will my credit card be charged if I enroll?

Your Visa Card information will be used by RSVP Rewards to validate your eligibility for the Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit at the time of enrollment and may be validated for continued eligibility for the Benefit on an annual basis.

 

What if my Card details change or if my Visa Card is lost or stolen?

If there are any changes to your Visa Card details, it is your responsibility as the Cardholder to ensure your Visa Card details are updated with the RSVP Rewards program to avoid any interruption to Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit. Simply contact the RSVP Rewards contact center (1.800.726.3626 press 3 for Loyalty) for instructions on how to update your Visa Card details.

 

What happens to my status with RSVP Rewards if I don’t have an eligible Visa Card anymore?

The Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit is only available to Cardholders who have a valid Canadian-issued eligible Card. If you do not have a valid eligible Visa Card when an annual check is completed by the RSVP Rewards program to validate eligibility, then your RSVP Rewards status will be reassessed without the automatic elevated status benefit (ie. by examining the spend from the prior year).

 

After I enroll, will my RSVP Rewards program status level change if I don’t meet the usual program spend requirements? 

No, as long as you enrolled for the RSVP Rewards program with your eligible Visa Card your profile will be marked with the Visa RSVP Rewards Benefit and you will not be moved into any status lower than Platinum status for Visa Infinite and Visa Infinite Business Cards or Diamond status for Visa Infinite Privilege Cards.  If you cease to have an eligible Visa Card linked to your RSVP Rewards membership, your status may be reset according to your qualified program dollar spend.

 

What if I have a Visa Infinite or Visa Infinite Business Card and reach Diamond status based on my spend within the RSVP Rewards program? Will I be able to move into a higher status within the program?

If you meet the spend threshold for RSVP Rewards Diamond status, you will be moved into the Diamond status. Upon an annual check, if you qualify to maintain Diamond status, you will do so. If you do not, you will be moved back to RSVP Rewards Platinum status.
